Jewish Federation of Victoria and Vancouver Island (JFVVI) is joining forces with Jewish Federation of British Columbia (JFBC) to strengthen and support Jewish life in Victoria and across Vancouver Island.

Through this partnership, JFBC will provide operational and organizational support while working closely with local leaders, organizations, donors and volunteers to ensure the community’s needs and priorities remain at the heart of our work.

Together, we will strengthen Jewish life through programs, partnerships, grants, scholarships and leadership development, while creating stronger connections across British Columbia, Israel and Jewish communities around the world.

This partnership brings new resources, expertise and opportunities to Vancouver Island, while building on the strong foundation and relationships JFVVI has developed over many years.

The mandate of the JFVVI includes support of community development and communication about the activities of organizations concerned with the welfare of the Jewish Community. Victoria and Vancouver Island are home to a rich tapestry of religious, cultural and political Jewish expression. While neither the JFVVI nor all of the groups included on the JFVVI’s Community Resources page would agree with each other on everything that they espouse, we celebrate and share with you the healthy diversity that the Jewish Communities of Victoria and Vancouver Island have to offer.
