How was the cost of this trip determined?
The mission fee was established based on the anticipated costs required to deliver a well-organized, meaningful, and impactful experience for all participants. Pricing was carefully calculated to cover core program expenses, including accommodations, ground transportation, planned group meals, educational and community site visits, logistical coordination, domestic air, and on-the-ground support throughout the mission.

Is a donation to the Jewish Federation of BC expected to participate?
Mission participants are asked to make a minimum household contribution of $5,000 to Federation’s 2026 Annual Campaign.

Is trip insurance required?
It is not required, but we strongly suggest purchasing the level of travel insurance, including coverage for airfare, that you will feel comfortable with.

Please consider purchasing coverage if the mission is canceled for unforeseen reasons. The Jewish Federation would only cancel the mission in the event of extraordinary circumstances.
