Beth Tikvah is entering an important period of growth, renewal and long-term planning and is seeking an accomplished, community-centred and relationship-driven Executive Director to help shape its next chapter.

Reporting to the Board of Directors and working in close partnership with the Rabbi, the Executive Director will provide strategic and operational leadership while strengthening the financial and organizational foundations required for Beth Tikvah’s long-term sustainability.

This is a broad and highly visible leadership role. The Executive Director will lead the synagogue’s day-to-day administration and staff, develop and execute a multi-year fundraising and revenue strategy, oversee financial and operational management, strengthen organizational capacity, support the Board and its committees, and cultivate strong relationships across the congregation and wider community.

A significant priority will be building Beth Tikvah’s philanthropic capacity. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board and community leaders to develop a more strategic and diversified approach to fundraising, personally cultivate donor and funding relationships, and build the systems and partnerships required to support Beth Tikvah’s future.

This is an opportunity for a leader who enjoys moving between strategy and execution. Someone equally comfortable meeting with a donor, reviewing a budget, coaching a staff member, engaging with a congregant, collaborating with volunteers and addressing the day-to-day needs of a busy community organization.
