On Thursday, April 8th at 7PM our community will come together to mark Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, presented by the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre.

Singers and musicians representing multiple generations will add to the evening through songs of remembrance and prayers. Holocaust survivors will participate in a memorial candle lighting ceremony.

The program will also provide an opportunity to hear a first-hand account by a local Holocaust survivor.
Venue to be confirmed.
Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah in Hebrew) is a national day of commemoration in Israel, on which the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust are memorialized. It is a solemn day, beginning at sunset on the 27th of the month of Nisan and ending the following evening, according to the traditional Jewish custom of marking a day
