Solstice Havdalah
Sat, Dec 21 | 4:45-8pm
4:45-5:45pm Meditation & Light Snack
Jewish tradition has long embraced darkness as a profound source of wisdom and reflection. The Torah tells us, "Moses approached the thick darkness (arafel) where God was" (Exodus 20:18). On the longest night of the year, join us for a 45-minute meditative sit in the darkness, opening ourselves to the stillness and the teachings it may reveal.
6-7pm Musical Havdalah
Join us for community, connection, and song as we welcome the week ahead. As the sun sets, we'll gather to celebrate Havdalah with Rabbi Arik and a lineup of talented musical guests. Don't miss this joyful, uplifting gathering.
7-8pm Candle-Making Activity for Adults
Stick around for a creative adult-focused Solstice candle-making activity! Celebrate the longest night of the year by crafting your own candles. It’s a chance to bring warmth, light, and intention into the season. No experience needed—just come ready to create and connect!
