Hal Aqua, a Denver-based musician, service leader, and graphic designer, is the music director for B'nai Havurah and leads the klezmer fusion band, The Lost Tribe. He also teaches Jewish world music and facilitates b'nai mitzvah ceremonies with his wife, Risa Aqua. Annie Aqua, a violinist since childhood, plays in multiple bands, including The Lost Tribe and MishMish, blending Klezmer, Balkan, and Arabic styles. She also runs a calligraphy and custom wedding art studio. Together, this father and daughter duo create an eclectic musical experience, combining lively Klezmer, Yiddish social action songs, and modern grooves.
