JCC Festival Ha'Rikud 2016 will celebrate the multiculturalism of Israeli society and its influence on Israeli dance, with an outdoor festival, two performances, over 150 dancers from the Lower Mainland and visiting groups from Israel and Miami.
Kicking off the festivities with a youth art exhibition on May 12th, a Community Shabbat Dinner and dancing on May 13th, an Israeli Dance workshop with Israeli choreographer Rafi Ziv on May 14th (with VIFS), and a big community celebration on May 15th:
12-4: FREE outdoor festival for the whole family (JCC parking lot)
2:00 & 3:30: Israeli dance youth performances (Norman Rothstein Theatre)
