Direct from London, British songwriter, storyteller, and broadcaster Daniel Cainer brings his unique collection of original songs and stories to Burquest on October 24, followed by a performance at Temple Sholom the next evening. Warm, intelligent, and deeply rooted in Jewish life, Daniel’s songs are about family, identity, memory, faith, and the human experience. A veteran of the Chutzpah! Festival, 21 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, and seven Off-Broadway runs at New York’s SoHo Playhouse, Daniel has taken his musical storytelling across the globe. His topical songs have featured regularly on BBC radio and television, while his contemplative works are sung by cantors and rabbis in synagogues across North America
